New features I love for the Glyph Matrix
One of the most frequent requests from the community has been the addition of new Glyph Toys. I recently called Nothing out for not releasing new toys since launch, and they've responded in the best way possible, with two new additions that I, personally, love them.

Furthermore, the Glyph Matrix It now has a new feature called Glyph Mirror in the camera app, which works with any rear lens. You can see on the screen what you capture in real time using the camera app, without being inside the corresponding glyph toy.
Camera improvements, but some bugs remain
This update brings an impressive number of improvements to the camera, an area that Nothing has always worked intensively on.
- 🎨 A new preset has been added “Stretch”, created together with photographer Jordan Hemingway, to achieve results with intense shadows and prominent highlights.
- 📸 The shutter response has been improved when taking continuous shots.
- ⏱️ The delay between the photo and the shot is less, making what you see in the preview more true to the final photo.
- 🎞️ The consistency of colors across all rear cameras has improved.
- 🔍 The clarity of the 6x to 60x zoom is now better.
- 🌅 The HDR It has been optimized for portraits and other scenes, aiming for a more natural glow.
- 📹 Effects in third-party apps have also been improved, with more accurate colors in Messenger video calls and better video quality overall.
However, despite these significant improvements, there is still a problem. When accessing the camera presets, I'm still experiencing terrible lag and even the app crashing. Sometimes. It seems something is wrong, and so far they haven't found a solution to this problem.
Corrections and a notice for the community
Along with the new features, a number of bugs reported by the community have been fixed.

Still I need to try If my WhatsApp notifications finally work properly, as they're supposed to be fixed, the same applies to the issues with generative ringtones., I'll have to try it. I will update this article when I can confirm if everything is finally fixed or if it's still failing me.
UPDATE 08/09/2025Confirmed! They've successfully fixed the bugs in essential notifications. They've also added an option to restore generative ringtones so you can switch between styles even after a contact has called and a ringtone has been assigned. It's not the best option, but they've managed to add this feature so you can change the ringtone for contacts who have already called you.
