Nothing has begun rolling out version V.2.8.2 from its Nothing Gallery app, focused on expanding image editing capabilities. After a period of basic functions, this update introduces annotation and technical drawing tools that allow users to work on their documents and photos without resorting to external software.

The integration is native and is housed within the editing menu, maintaining visual consistency with the rest of the Nothing OS interface.

Drawing and customization tools

The core of this update lies in the new "Draw" feature, which includes a series of brushes and shapes designed for both creative use and practical utility:

  • Types of strokes: In addition to the freehand drawing, geometric shapes (squares, circles), straight lines and arrows are added for signage.
  • Mosaic brush: a fundamental privacy tool that allows you to quickly pixelate areas of the photo.
  • Precision adjustments: It allows full control over stroke thickness and a custom color palette with tone adjustment.

Update deployment

Version V.2.8.2 It has already begun its distribution through the Google Play Store in stages. Although it is a one-off improvement, the company has confirmed that it is the foundation for future, more complex editing features that will arrive soon.
