I've been closely following the evolution of the open-ear format for a while now. As many of you already know, I'm a declared fan of the Nothing Ear (Open). The idea of listening to music or podcasts without disconnecting from the world around you sounds fantastic on paper, but the reality is usually different: headphones that you have to keep readjusting in your ear, whose transparency mode is insufficient, or, in the case of open-back headphones, with a sound that loses all its power as soon as you go outside.
Today the company officially unveiled the new CMF Clip Pro, its first open-ear earbuds, and these are their specs:

The first thing you notice is its ergonomics. CMF has opted for a clip design with three points of attachment that distribute pressure to avoid discomfort to the ear. With just 5.9 grams per earpiece and an adaptable flexible titanium arch, the promise is clear: to be able to wear them for hours in the office, on the street or doing sports without remembering that you are wearing them.

The real challenge in this category has always been sound quality, especially the loss of bass. To solve this, they integrate a 10.8 mm driver backed by technology Ultra Bass, which intelligently reinforces low frequencies without distorting the highs.

As for battery life, the figures are promising: up to 10 hours of continuous playback and a total of 32.5 hours with the charging case, plus fast charging (10 minutes gives you 4 hours). Keep in mind, we're talking about 2 hours more than the Nothing Ear (Open) earbuds offer—that's incredible. Add Bluetooth 5.4, dual connection, IP54 rating, and a very competitive price tag of 79,95 €to the mix, and we have a product that could make serious noise.
The CMF Clip Pro position themselves as a very serious alternative for those looking for a balance between design, comfort, and good sound without losing touch with their surroundings. We'll have to test them thoroughly to see if the titanium fit holds up on the move, but on paper, it's a solid proposal.
