The Nothing Phone (4a) continues to receive improvements with a new update for Nothing OS. Version B4.1-260911-0959 takes a fairly focused approach, concentrating on improving overall camera and system stabilitywhile keeping the device up to date with the September 2026 security patch.
This isn't an update that introduces new features or significant changes to the user experience, but rather a version intended to refine the device's operation and correct any problems. Nothing has also taken advantage of this deployment to reinforce the overall stability of the terminal.

During installation, the Nothing Phone (4a) may consume more battery and get hotter than usual. Nothing indicates that this behavior is temporary and that both consumption and performance will return to normal once the update process is complete.
As usual, the rollout is being carried out in stages, so the update may take some time to appear on certain devices. You can check whether it is available by going to Settings > System > System Update.
