This latest smartwatch from CMF offers a remarkably polished and consistent user experience, putting it on par with higher-end competitors, were it not for one crucial detail: its build quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To contextualize this analysis, I clarify my <strong>user profile<\/strong>My use is primarily <em>casual<\/em>. I use it to receive notifications at the office, as a morning alarm, for sleep tracking, and occasionally (once a week) to record walks with GPS, use the flashlight at night, or answer the occasional call. I&#039;m not an elite athlete who demands maximum precision or complex functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Design and materials: &quot;toy&quot; or sporty?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This is undoubtedly the most polarizing aspect of the watch. Its understated and casual aesthetic will depend on individual taste. However, the <strong>materials<\/strong> In my opinion, they feel somewhat flimsy or toy-like. The version I received for review (black and orange) is entirely made of plastic and has a textured surface on the upper part that is pleasant to the touch and visually appealing. It looks very defined, sharp, and with a vibrancy of color that, frankly, is not expected in this price range.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Belt:<\/strong> The material is very good quality, it fits the wrist perfectly, and it&#039;s well-made. It includes that small burr to prevent the strap from slipping off with friction or quick movements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>My personal needs or &quot;outfit&quot; require a watch with more refined finishes <em>premium<\/em>, ...that looks better, that goes well with a shirt for everyday wear or the workplace. If Nothing launches a model <em>flagship<\/em> In the future, with this same software experience, but with a metal body and retro-futuristic design, for me it would be an almost guaranteed purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Screen and crown: brightness and ergonomics<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>He <strong>glow<\/strong> The maximum screen brightness is more than sufficient, allowing for perfectly clear viewing even in direct sunlight. However, I&#039;ve noticed one drawback: the automatic brightness adjustment is rather slow. When you turn your wrist, the watch lights up at a low brightness and takes approximately two seconds to adapt to the correct ambient light level. It rotates without that annoying &quot;bounce&quot; sometimes felt in overly soft models. The drawback is its ergonomics: I find it too small and flat, slightly hidden, which makes quick and easy access with a finger difficult. Its &quot;plasticky&quot; feel is a stark contrast to how well it works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Operating system and user experience: fluidity is key<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If there&#039;s one area where the CMF Watch 3 Pro shines, it&#039;s in its operating system. <strong>fluidity is at its maximum<\/strong>, I haven&#039;t noticed <em>lag<\/em> There were no delays in virtually any action, something I have experienced on considerably more expensive devices. Swiping up displays the type of notification (e.g., WhatsApp), part of the message, and\u2014a detail I find very practical\u2014the <strong>exact date, hour and minutes<\/strong> You can also reply to these messages with predefined quick phrases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Activation by notification:<\/strong> I find it incredibly convenient that the screen activates automatically when a message is received, without needing to turn the wrist, something that other higher-end watches do not allow.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gestures:<\/strong> The watch allows you to activate certain functions through gestures, either by quickly turning your wrist in the opposite direction (outwards) or by shaking your arm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Quick options:<\/strong> When you swipe up and down, the menu is concise, with just the right options and well placed, avoiding that endless and useless list of other models.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Negative points in the OS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Emoticons:<\/strong> Emoji compatibility is limited. As usual, it can save you in certain situations when your phone is far away or your hands are busy, but I can&#039;t recommend it for long calls since the quality is basic, although in my opinion, more than sufficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spheres: lots of variety but with limited interactivity<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The watch offers over 100 watch faces, some with very &quot;crazy&quot; or minimalist designs that I love. It also allows you to create a custom watch face in a fairly simple yet easy way. Everything appears in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">sports functions, sleep tracking and GPS<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of step counting, the watch performs similarly to its competitors, including other more expensive models I own. It accurately detects activity, although it tends to overcount if I&#039;m walking my dog on the leash in the same hand as the watch, and undercount if my hand is in my pocket. However, when passing between tall buildings or in cities, the route can become jagged or have strange movements. It&#039;s suitable for a user looking for a <em>approximate idea<\/em> and the overall nature of its activity, not the accuracy of a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/474yOZK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Garmin<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He<strong> sleep analysis<\/strong>, Like other devices, it struggles to identify some midnight awakenings (for example, to attend to my daughter). Occasionally, it counts that period of wakefulness as sleep, or divides it into &quot;sleep&quot; and &quot;nap,&quot; which reduces its reliability in those situations. When you sleep uninterrupted, it&#039;s quite accurate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/nothingtec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/analisis-CMF-watch-3-pro-002-1024x768.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3398\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nothingtec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/analisis-CMF-watch-3-pro-002-1024x768.webp 1024w, https:\/\/nothingtec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/analisis-CMF-watch-3-pro-002-300x225.webp 300w, https:\/\/nothingtec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/analisis-CMF-watch-3-pro-002-768x576.webp 768w, https:\/\/nothingtec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/analisis-CMF-watch-3-pro-002-1536x1152.webp 1536w, https:\/\/nothingtec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/analisis-CMF-watch-3-pro-002-2048x1536.webp 2048w, https:\/\/nothingtec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/analisis-CMF-watch-3-pro-002-816x612.webp 816w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The watch includes a full suite of features (SpO2, heart rate, stress, menstrual cycle, flashlight, calculator, etc.), even with a running coach and visual warm-up exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Widgets and usability details<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The <em>widgets<\/em> They are, in general, of very good quality. <em>widget<\/em> of the <strong>time<\/strong> It&#039;s spectacular, displaying the time and temperature for the next few hours on a kind of dial in a very intuitive way (although I&#039;ve noticed that it sometimes suffers a little <em>bug<\/em> and does not load the data hourly). <em>widget<\/em> The music feature displays the album cover, something many competitors omit, and the caller ID function with contact photos is very well implemented visually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Areas for improvement and errors detected<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the excellent overall experience, there are aspects that CMF could refine with updates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Nothing X app crashes:<\/strong> The mobile app slows down or freezes when I try to create a watch face from a photo in the gallery (while it works fine with video). It&#039;s a very occasional issue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Health data:<\/strong> I&#039;d like to be able to see historical data for stress, heart rate, and blood oxygen levels the moment I access those functions, instead of having to wait for the watch to recalculate.
