The latest update of the Nothing Phone (2), identified as Nothing OS V3.2-250708-2227, The update is now starting to reach users. As usual, the rollout is staggered, so not everyone will receive it at the same time. This new version brings some useful bug fixes, a couple of minor improvements, and a single new feature: the Hotspot Manager. Although stability is improving, There is still no progress in photography nor any new standout features.
Hotspot Manager
The main new feature is the introduction of a function called Hotspot Manager, which allows easily manage the devices connected to our personal hotspot. This is an interesting improvement for those who frequently share mobile data, as it is now easier to see who is connected, disconnect them, or limit access.
Beyond that, the rest of the changes focus on internal corrections and improvements. A rare bug that caused crashes when opening videos from the gallery has been fixed, as well as interface problems in some apps which were not displaying correctly. Additionally, the Android security patch as of June, and it is reinforced overall system stability.
And what about camera improvements?
Once again, Phone (2) users were left wanting more. No new photographic modes, presets nor improved settings in the camera app, which remains one of the areas with the most room for improvement. Everything points to that Nothing is focusing its efforts on the new Nothing Phone (3), which relegates the other models to the background.
Even so, it is likely that, once the new flagship is officially launched, The brand will resume its pace of improvements in the rest of its devices.. However, for now, this update feels insufficient.

Nothing OS 3.2 It improves stability and fixes annoying bugs, but It does not include any notable new features for the most demanding users.. The Phone (2) is still an excellent device, but The lack of progress in the camera is starting to be noticeable.. With the Phone (3) just around the corner, all that remains is to wait and see if Nothing resumes active development for its previous devices. For now, this update is more of a fine-tuning than a revolution.
