If you thought Nothing was going to sit back and watch the market evolve, you were very wrong. The British firm has a rather ambitious plan for next year that promises to completely change the brand's scale.
As confirmed exclusively Akis Evangelidis, co-founder of Nothing, in an interview with Times Now Tech, the company plans double its smartphone catalog by 2027, going from three models launched this year to launching at least six new devices. An aggressive strategy with which they seek to increase their sales volumes by 50% year-on-year.

More smartphones and an eye on the CMF range
This move responds to the need to diversify and reach different types of users. While this year we've seen the arrival of devices like the Nothing Phone (4a), the Phone (4a) Pro, and the Phone (4b), the range will expand considerably next year.
An interesting detail that Evangelidis mentioned during the interview is the situation of the CMF sub-brand. Although the launch of the CMF Phone (3) Pro was canceled this year due to increased component costs (especially RAM), the brand continues to evaluate market trends to see if it's viable to relaunch the CMF line in 2027.

Audio, artificial intelligence, and physical expansion
Nothing's ecosystem isn't just about phones. Akis Evangelidis highlighted that the audio sector is performing exceptionally well for the brand. Therefore, business units dedicated exclusively to the development of audio devices and native AI products.
Regarding its physical presence and global strategy, the company will prioritize strengthening its position in key markets:
- India: Following the enormous success of their first flagship store in Bengaluru, they plan to open two more exclusive stores by the first quarter of 2027, considering strategic locations in cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. Furthermore, they will continue to invest in local manufacturing.
- USA: It is positioned as an absolute priority where they see a huge opportunity for growth, especially in the audio category, where they believe the competition is less saturated.
- New releases for 2026: We won't have to wait until next year for new products. Akis Evangelidis confirmed that the "launch season" isn't over and that we'll still see new products during the third quarter of this year. Are we close to seeing Nothing's first smartwatch?

For those of us who have been following this project for some time and have invested in its vision, seeing this level of ambition is thrilling. Accelerating in this way involves taking enormous risks in a cutthroat industry, but Nothing is proving that it doesn't want to be just a friendly alternative for design nostalgics, but a true ecosystem capable of making real noise against the established giants. If they maintain the essence and attention to detail that makes them unique, the journey to 2027 promises to be exciting.

Six devices? Perfect for making them forget, even faster than they do now, about devices that are a year old or less… That's the only thing I hate about Nothing. Once they release a new device, they forget about those of us who bought the previous one…
