Nothing has begun rolling out a new software release for the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, corresponding to version Nothing OS B4.1-260819-1839. This time, the company introduces new features for quick entertainment in the widgets drawer, while also resolving notification stability issues and updating the operating system's overall security. Nothing continues to maintain a constant focus on its entry-level device to refine the everyday user experience.
Key new features of the release
The most striking aspect of this package is the addition of the new Games widgets in the widgets menu. This addition allows users to directly access their recently played minigames with a single tap from the home screen. Additionally, the development team has fixed a bug that caused notifications from third-party apps to close unexpectedly in certain situations, improving the reliability of alerts.

Device performance and behavior
It is important to note that, during the installation phase, the phone may experience increased battery consumption and a rise in temperature. This is a completely normal reaction caused by internal file reorganization tasks. Once the update is fully complete, battery life and temperature readings will return to normal.

I just need the phone to not crash and turn off when fully charged connected to a multiport charger (like my 65W UGREEN Nexode Pro 3-port and 100W UGREEN 6-port desktop charger). having it limited to 80% of charge for it to not panic and turn off in the middle of the night leaving me with no alarms just because it was fully charged and my earbuds case finished charging later, or a family member connected their phone to the same charger during the day while mine was charging, or that mine finished charging and their phone finished later, but my phone turns off because it panicked of the renegotiation of charging speed instead of just saying no to more charge.

What you're describing isn't normal, and I would contact technical support. I don't know if it's a problem with your device or the charger. Also, the phone already has an option to limit charging. https://nothingtec.com/2025/04/01/modo-carga-personalizada-nothing-phone/
