Nothing's weather app gets an update with new animations and a revamped design

Nothing's weather app has received a new update (version 3.0.0, with a weight of 591 kBThis update brings visual and usability improvements with new animations and a refreshed design. If you haven't received it yet, don't worry, as the rollout is being done gradually. To update, simply go to the Play Store and search for the app. Nothing Weather and apply the update to your Nothing Phone.

What's new in the update

New time-dot animations

  • Now, when you open the app or tap a widget from the lock or home screen, you'll see a dot-matrix animation representing the weather conditions.
  • There are specific animations for different weather conditions, such as rain, sun, clouds and night, which add a dynamic and minimalist touch to the visual experience.
  • Additionally, if you press and hold the weather icon within the app, you can play with the dot animation and see how the hidden matrix forms with the weather symbol.

New design and interface improvements

  • They have been added new information panels that show details such as Visibility, pressure, and probability of precipitation 10 days.
  • The weather widgets have been redesigned with a clearer typography and new icons.
  • The main screen now displays the temperature in Ndot at the top for faster and easier viewing.
  • The locations page has also been revamped with a new search bar and improved panels that display the weather and temperature in Ndot.
  • Visual graphics and subtle details have been added in red for key information such as sunrise and sunset times, humidity and air quality.
  • The typefaces in several sections, such as the settings page and the temperature predictor, improving readability.

An update with attention to detail

Nothing continues to refine its ecosystem with small details that improve the user experience.
