Nothing has done it again. Through their social networks, The company has confirmed the launch of the new Nothing Phone (3) this will arrive July 2025, And they've done it in their own unique way: with a minimalist, mysterious teaser, brimming with meaning. Just a few days ago I informed you about the first details.
The published video is in black and white, and shows a animation on a 24×24 pixel grid, where a moving "3" appears. The curious thing is that, unlike other occasions when they relied on their classic system of round dots, This time they have used square pixels, giving it a more retro and digital feel. All of this is accompanied by characteristic sound of Nothing's Glyphs, that futuristic and electronic tone so recognizable that accompanies its animations and notifications.
That detail, though it may seem minor, has given me quite a bit to think about. Personally, I have a pretty clear theory: I believe that the Nothing Phone (3) will have a monochrome rear screen pixelated type, which could replace the current Essential Glyph system. This rear panel, if it is ultimately confirmed, It could display icons, logos, or simple animations related to notifications, calls, device status, or other useful functions. I created this render so you can imagine what goes through my head:

I imagine something like a small square screen in the upper right corner From the back of the phone. Something that respects the style. transparent and different from Nothing, but that gives a twist to its design language.
For now, we can only speculate, but the Expectations are extremely high. This is the first time Nothing has defined its phone as a “real ”flagship”, And it's clear they want to make a real difference. I'm convinced they'll gradually reveal more information in the coming weeks, as they've done before.

I'll definitely be keeping an eye out to tell you all about it here. And what do you think? Will we finally see one? rear screen on a Nothing Phone?
