A new update has begun its rollout for the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, carrying the firmware to the version Nothing OS V3.2-250904-1704. As usual, the update will arrive in stages, which guarantees a more stable implementation for the user community.

Although this update does not include major changes for the user, it does demonstrate a commitment to the security and reliability of the device.
Main new features and improvements
The changelog focuses on fixes and optimizations that directly impact the daily user experience.
- 🖼️ Screen flickering when viewing HDR photos in the Gallery has been fixed. This is a solution to a very specific problem that demonstrates the brand's attention to detail.
- 🛡️ It has been updated to the September security patch. For me, keeping the device up to date with the latest protections is essential these days.
- ⚙️ The overall system stability has been improved and its performance optimized. This should result in smoother and more reliable use in the long run.
Things to keep in mind
As a final note, Nothing advises that the phone may get warm and temporarily increase power consumption during installation. This is completely normal, and the device will return to its usual state once the process is complete.
The company encourages users to submit their feedback directly from Settings > System > Comments.
