Nothing has begun rolling out a new software update for the Nothing Phone (2), which receives the version Nothing OS B4.1-261014-1615. This release incorporates several fixes and improvements related to video playback, Bluetooth connectivity and the Wi-Fi hotspot, as well as strengthening the overall stability of the system.
While it doesn't include any major new features, it does introduce some interesting adjustments to improve the everyday user experience. These include smoother playback of videos recorded at 1080p and 60 FPS, optimized Bluetooth connection when the voice assistant is activated, and a fix for a bug related to the Wi-Fi access point frequency. It also includes the October 2026 security patch.

During installation, the Nothing Phone (2) may consume more battery power and become warmer than usual. Nothing indicates that this is temporary and that both power consumption and performance will return to normal once the process is complete.
The rollout of Nothing OS B4.1-261014-1615 is being done in stages, so it may take some time to appear on all devices. To check if it's available, go to Settings > System > System update.
